Hi its almost Christmas 2008. I find it very hard to believe that it's nine years now and things are still working great for me. I am still hearing very well and have done so many things that I would not have been able to do so easily had it not been for the implant. I am now on the National Board of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association and have started a Chapter here in Nova Scotia for the CHHA with help from my daughter and other friends. We now have three AB implants in our family as both my daughters have been implanted and we are all pleased with the results of the implant. My thanks to all the great team at AB and also to the Christaine Sequin and Dr. David Schramm of the Ottawa implant team and also Heather Maassen and the Nova Scotia Hearing and Speech Clinic for their help over the last nine wonderful years.
